Quarry Hill Winery & Orchard

2005, the winery has offered a wide variety of award winning, estate grown & bottled Vinifera wines. Additionally, we have a variety American/Hybrid, dessert, & fruit wines. Our Berlin Heights, Ohio vineyard was planted on the highest point of the farm with a distant view of Lake Erie. The vineyard’s peak sits at 834′ above sea level, approximately 100′ higher than the surrounding areas along the lake. The elevation, along with proximity to Lake Erie gives the vines added protection from spring frosts and allows longer ripening time in the fall. As well, the rolling land, and sandy loam soil provides excellent drainage.
