Golden Road Vineyards

Chad and Crista Guebert purchased Golden Road Vineyards in 2017 and moved from Alexandria, VA to State Road, NC where they took over vineyard management starting in 2018.

The couple met in the Washington DC area where they worked as consultants for the DoD and VA healthcare system modernization. They continue working in these roles along with operating the vineyard and preparing to open the tasting room.

Their goal was to eventually grow the business from a vineyard that sold grapes to local wineries to include a tasting room that would feature wines made from grapes grown on the estate. In 2018, Golden Road Vineyards kept the red wine grapes and worked with an area winery to produce its 2018 vintage. The majority of the 2019 harvest was kept to produce wines to sell in our tasting room
