Ginkgo Forest Winery is known for the wide selection of wines crafted from grapes grown on the acclaimed Wahluke Slope AVA. Using estate grown premium grapes, owner and winemaker Mike Thiede, combines his artistic and scientific backgrounds to create wines for every occasion and every lifestyle — varietals, blends, dessert, port-style or fortified, and coming soon organic wines. Known as the oldest living fossil, the ginkgo tree lends its unique features to Ginkgo Forest Winery. With almost a thousand ginkgo trees planted around the winery, a contemporary forest is growing on the Wahluke slope. Our goal is to make Ginkgo Forest wines as unique and distinctive as the ginkgo tree.
