The Tantaros Family

Blue Cork Winery and Vineyards is a Greek and Italian owned winery and vineyard. The vineyard was previously just farmland when obtained in June of 2012. Angelo and Michelle Tantaros purchased it with the purpose of growing a Vineyard and building a Winery…Blue Cork Winery.

Angelo Tantaros grew up in Greece on a farm and vineyard. He learned how to cultivate and harvest the land from his family especially his father, Dimetri Tantaros.

He came to America with just the dirt under his fingernails and a vision of living the American Dream at the age of 20. He instantly fell in love with America.

The early years for Angelo were challenging. He struggled, like most of us, to fulfill his dream. Since then, Angelo met his wife Michelle and established numerous successful businesses. They have four beautiful children and enjoy teaching them and guiding them how to love and care for the vines, so that the vineyard and winery will stay in their family for years to come.

Angelo loves his family in Greece and misses them dearly, but he has never regretted the choice he made to move his life here.

Angelo and Michelle are focused in creating delicious tasting wine to enjoy with our friends, family, and customers. We all hope you are excited to visit Blue Cork Winery as much as we are excited to have you.
