Perrine Winery

Beth Perrine Leopold and Rick Leopold are the owners, operators, winemakers, and all around doers of anything else that needs done at the winery. We both have worked in agriculture or agriculture-related industries all our lives. We are basically farmers at heart, but we don’t have any land to farm. Just like a lot of folks who love wine, we always wondered what it would be like to own and operate a winery and vineyard. And, like most folks, we thought we’d never be able to do that. That’s what interested us in the micro-winery business. All of the grape juice and crushed grapes we use to make our wine are grown and packaged by someone else, just like most micro-breweries and distilleries. While this may seem a bit odd at first, it allows us to choose grape varietals from some of most renowned grape growing regions in the world. We have almost limitless options and we plan to change up our wine list several times a year with special selections and seasonal favorites. We make all of our wine on site in small batches of 100 to 1000 liters, which allows us to try new varieties and methods all the time.
