Holly and Kevin Brown believe everyone has a calling, a “Siren Song.” Their calling is to share the romance and beauty of hand crafted wines made in the old tradition. Holly and Kevin take you on a culinary food and wine adventure at their Vineyard Estate and Winery in Lake Chelan, WA, where you’ll enjoy tastings on the terrace, pizza on the piazza, cooking classes, winemakers dinners, live music, and a variety of culinary adventures.
When we’re asked about Siren Song, and what the meaning is behind the brand name we love to explain that a siren song is an irresistible attraction. The term stems from Greek Mythology and the tale of Odysseus. As the story goes, Sirens (mermaid like creatures) called to the sailors with their irresistible Siren Song. The sailors were compelled by their attraction to the sirens’ song. The term siren song came to be known in modern vernacular as a “calling,” an “irresistible attraction,” or a “deep desire.” For Holly and Kevin Brown, their “calling” is to do the things they love with the one’s they love. Siren Song wines are an expression of the Brown’s world travels together and their desire to share those adventures with their friends, family, and wine club members. A unique and personal story inspires every wine and food pairing.
Kevin Brown, the winemaker, holds the creative vision for Siren Song wines. He names each wine according to an adventure, journey, or delicious meal. He shares that story on the label of every bottle.
